Commiserations. I know what it's like to lose a dear feline friend. He looks the loveliest cat too.

Thanks both - I'm sort of relieved that he went quite suddenly, at home and in his own chair so he didn't have to go through the stress of being taken to the vet. Now sleeping under the apple trees in the kitchen garden which was always one of his favourite occupations in life.
