At last the Sweet Peas are flowering - for weeks I have been mystified by a flowerless wall of pea foliage; it seems that birds have been pecking off the buds as they open! Hanging fluttery ribbons and old CDs seems to have worked, and the first generous vase full now adorns the table.

i adore sweetpeas~i have them in our front and back garden and they small amazing. but right now the lavender at the front door has come into its own and every time the door opens the smell drfts in
